What's in here?

ProtoDungeon was design with the purpose for prototyping and quick testing ideas.

Whether you're building a top-down RPG, action-adventure, or roguelike, this pack helps you get started with clean, game-ready art!

CHARACTERS

• Hero Sprite with 5 states: (32x32 Sprite sheet cell size)

  • Idle

  • Movement

  • Attack

  • Death 

  • Sitting

• Enemy Sprite with 3 states: (48x48 Sprite sheet cell size)

  • Idle & Movement

  • Attack

  • Death (stand alone animation)
    
    

  TILES 

• A 16x16 dungeon tileset (DUH!)

• Walls, corners, and transition pieces

• Autotiling ready for Godot and GameMaker (I'll add more if needed :D)
  
  

PROPS

• Switches (with on/off animation)

• Chests (closed/open states)

• Props: Barrels, crates, bones, rubble, torches (some animated)

• Weapons: Swords (more weapons are WIP currently)
  
  

FEATURES 

• Consistent color palette

• Format: .PNG spritesheets + .ASE (Aseprite file for easy modifications)

• Resolution: Cell size of 16x16 for the Tiles and Props (otherwise it'll be specified)

• Animation Cell Frame Rate: 10-fps recommended (For everything animated)

• Now with extra skeletons!

UPDATES 

This pack WILL GET UPDATES and they will be added to the original pack, including:

• New enemies & NPCs (WIP)

• Armors & Weapons for the character (WIP)

• More traps, doors, levers

• Expanded prop sets and effects

LICENSE 

• Free License: commercial and non-commercial use, modifications NOT allowed

• Paid License: commercial and non-commercial use, modifications allowed

• No credit required (but really appreciated!)

• Do not resell or redistribute the assets individually or as part of another asset pack
